Have just spent the weekend at this lovely inn. Stable room clean and comfortable and quiet. Hosts very attentive and friendly. Located 5 minutes walk from town centre. Would recommend and return. Thank you Dave & Ann for making feel home from home

5* location about 5 minutes' level walk from the town centre and church. The owners are wonderful - incredibly friendly, accommodating and kind. We had a long journey and arrived about an hour early, but the owners were lovely and let us park up and settle in even though they didn't have to. We stayed for 2 nights for a wedding, and our room was comfortable. All rooms seem to have their own access. It was a comfortable cottage-style room with everything you need, and a fair price. We didn't eat as we basically woke up too late (wedding indulgences...!) but it seemed good value from what was in offer. Tip: book direct if you can, the owners are lovely and said they'd always try and 'throw in a little something extra' if you do!
Just back from a two-night stay at the Talbot Inn, Cirencester with my parents. Ann, Dave and Ann’s sister were fantastic right from taking a booking via telephone to check out. Nice, cozy and clean rooms with excellent hospitality. Would recommend!
Loved staying here. Our room was in the loft next to main building which is totally separate and a small pub. Very clean and very comfortable. Had a small table and 2 chairs outside the split front door. Lovely couple running the place. So close to all amenities. Well recommended.
Ann and Dave are lovely hosts! They made sure we needed everything to ensure a comfortable stay. The Talbot Inn is a quaint, quiet and homey place to stay in wonderful Cirencester!
We had sunday roast beef excellent all fresh vegetables and potatoes were delicious also bread and butter pudding was to die for and all finished off with raspberry gin the couple who run the Talbot are excellent hosts thankyou we shall be back soon
We stayed for a week away in the cotswolds, the talbot inn was a cosy welcoming place. The owners literally will do anything for you and have a great sense of humour, very personable and lovely people. Food was nice, lots of options for breakfast and room was cosy and clean. Particularly nice to have own private access to room (front door to the room is accessed straight from small carpark, not going through the pub and so coming back late or leaving early is easy) with a cosy searing area and fairy lights outside. We greatly enjoyed out stay
Had a lovely family meal at the Talbot . Highly recommend the steak. It was cooked to perfection and the kids were well looked after. With our youngest be made a grilled chicken breast in a bun. Nothing was too much trouble.. a real gem
